We have another outstanding night of music at London’s famed Troubadour Club on Saturday 23rd March, featuring the talents of Saiichi Sugiyama, Jade Like The Stone, and Hollie Rogers.
Saiichi Sugiyama is a talented singer-songwriter who has supported Josh Smith and Kirk Fletcher (both US). Saiichi Sugiyama solo plays his own material, some written with Cream lyricist Pete Brown, or hand-picked covers. Jade Like The Stone (aka Jade Danielle Williams) is vocalist with the band Du Bellows and is building her standing as singer-songwriter. Jade is a poet and lyricist drawing on her life experiences, classical and wider musical training, plus the influence of classic acts like the Doors, Beatles and Neil Young and more contemporary influences such as Jill Scott, Massive Attack and Modest Mouse. In 2018, Jade appeared on TV’s ‘The Voice’. “You have a superstar voice. Your voice sounds like a logo – like Jennifer Hudson’s voice is a logo, like Beyonce’s voice is a logo, Kate Bush’s voice is a logo. You have that uniqueness to your voice!” – Will.i.am.
