Saiichi Sugiyama is a talented singer-songwriter who has supported Josh Smith (US) and Ariel Posen (Canada), including an appearance in 2018 at another of London’s top music venues, Under The Bridge. Saiichi Sugiyama solo plays his own material, some written with Cream lyricist Pete Brown, or hand-picked covers. Elements of Classic Rock, Folk, Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Americana combine in the set of an artist whose many influences include Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Paul McCartney and George Harrison. STOP PRESS: Saiichi will not appear owing to family illness. He is replaced on the bill by Robert Hokum, praised by Blues In Britain magazine and many other media outlets for “…great playing, wide ranging…and a dash of wry humour.’ Website www.roberthokum.co.uk

Connor Selby is a blues/folk/soul singer songwriter who draws inspiration from the American musical tradition ranging from the original country Blues of the 30s, to the Gospel and Soul music of the 50s, the music of the Folk revival in the 1960s and everything in between. Some of his main influences include Robert Johnson, Snooks Eaglin, Dave Van Ronk, Ray Charles and Eric Clapton. Connor’s respected band has already played the legendary 100 Club and their debut has impressed critics, including Classic Rock magazine. www.connorselby.com

The line up will also feature guest performer Tim Brooks. As his website says, “Taking equal influence from his favourite singer songwriters (Frank Turner, Brian Fallon, Bruce Springsteen), and from the angsty rock music of his youth, Tim Brooks combines stellar wordplay with a voice that is equal part rasp, croon and wail…. The latter part of the year has seen him play at the O2 arena as part of Stone Free festival (headlined by Scorpions and Yes) support Will Varley (Xtra Mile) in Poznan, appear on Balcony TV, and play his first international shows.” Website www.timbrooksmusic.com
